More about the project

An energy audit of the Cambridge Community Center (CCC) found that one of its refrigerators uses significantly more power than any of the other appliances -- a total of 1,772 kilowatt-hours per year.

To lower its carbon emissions and save on electricity, the center is planning to replace the inefficient fridge with an Energy Star qualified model, which will only use an estimated 416 kilowatt-hours per year.

And if you need more reasons to donate, for a limited time, NGE will match 25 percent of all donations!

I am a producer for Eastern Insurance Group, a division of Eastern Bank. Cambridge Community Center is one of my customers. I like and support Cambridge Community Center's contributions to the community at large and I also like and support green initiatives (as does Eastern Bank through our "green team" and charitible contribution match programs)
