April 26, 2012 - Three nonprofit organizations – Massachusetts Interfaith Power & Light (MIP&L), Home Energy Efficiency Team (HEET), and New Generation Energy (NGE) – have launched an initiative called CARES (Congregations Acting to Renew Earth's Sustainability) to increase energy efficiency in Massachusetts houses of worship and in the homes of their congregants.
New Generation Energy (NGE) – an organization that develops and funds green projects at nonprofits nationwide – launched a Thanksgiving carbon offset program Wednesday. Through this program, individuals can lower the impact of their Thanksgiving dinner by donating to projects on NGE’s Green Project Listing Site.
June 14, 2011 -- New Generation Energy will host a virtual donation match event on August 2, 2011 from noon to 5 p.m. During this time, all individual project donations will be matched 100 percent up to a pre‐determined amount.
June 14, 2011 -- More than 80 individuals donated a total of $22,560 to green energy projects during New Generation Energy’s Summer Donation Event. This virtual event helped fully fund three projects at nonprofits nationwide.
December 1, 2010 — New Generation Energy (NGE) today announced that for the month of December it will expand its regular donation match program to allow donors to specify any service‐providing charitable organization to receive a 100% match on their project support donation.

This loan supports the installation of ultra high efficiency appliances including refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers at the children’s center which was founded in 1989 and has a sister facility in Sudbury, MA.
September 8, 2010 - New Generation Energy (NGE), a nonprofit whose mission is to make America's communities healthier and more sustainable through the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, today announced that it provided the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence (ATASK) family shelter with a top-to-bottom light bulb upgrade of their ten-unit family shelter located in Boston, MA.
September 8, 2010- New Generation Energy (NGE), a nonprofit whose mission is to make America's communities healthier and more sustainable through the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, today announced that it installed high efficiency lighting at the Elizabeth Stone House (ESH), a family shelter located in Roxbury, MA, providing lifetime savings of over $13,500 to ESH, and a reduction of CO2 emissions of 107,000 lbs.
