There are so many nooks and crannies in a single building, and we’ll need to figure out where there’s efficiency and where there’s not. Our team of professional energy auditors will walk through your site and build a comprehensive report about current energy usage.
We’ll design and present a project, suggest vendors and create a timeline that details just how an energy efficiency upgrade would benefit both environmentally and financially. When the nonprofit approves, we move to make it happen.
With a project selected, we’ll work to raise the critical funds needed to implement the upgrade. Local businesses, partners and individual donors connected to New Generation Energy support our Local & Green organizations. When the funding goal is met, we write the check.
Nonprofits and their projects are included in New Generation Energy publications throughout the year. Not only do we promote energy efficient projects, we like showing off the good work that other nonprofits are doing in their local communities.
With a network of green project vendors, we’ll find and suggest the right people for the job. We build partnerships with community leaders, businesses, nonprofits and individuals to help organizations transition to energy efficiency.
Managing projects day-to-day takes time that nonprofits can’t afford to lose. We assist in making the transition run as seamlessly as possible. Plus, we can help nonprofits understand the technical energy jargon in terms that make sense.
We develop opportunities for volunteers to get involved in Local & Green projects. Money may be part of the equation, but people power makes things happen too. We love it when individuals are excited about improving their communities.
What else would we do when we’re finished! We’ll help plan a ribbon cutting ceremony and continue to hold Local & Green social events throughout the year. It’s our way to high-five nonprofits who are taking a stand for environmental sustainability.
