New Generation Energy's local + GREEN program connects businesses -- like yours -- with green projects at nonprofits in your community. When you participate, you:

Why should I participate in local + GREEN?
local + GREEN is a great way to increase your business's profile because it shows you care about the environment and about your community. Your business will benefit in many ways, including attracting new customers. Most importantly, you will support the work NGE does in helping nonprofits become greener.
As a participant, you'll be invited to informational networking events with other green-minded organizations, and you will also receive:
- A local + GREEN window sticker (pictured)
- A local + GREEN web emblem
- Framed recognition certificate for your business.
- Recognition at the project site
How do I participate in local + GREEN?
Participating in local + GREEN is easy. You can choose from a few options, letting you maximize the benefits to your business. You can:
- Provide a direct project donation. Your donation is 100 percent tax deductible and lowers your business's carbon footprint.
- Become an NGE merchandise partner. By selling NGE's merchandise, you raise money for the local project. And NGE's local + GREEN merchandise is unique -- all of our products are sourced withing 100 miles of your business.
- Provide gift cards, redeemable at your business. These gift cards drive project donations. For example, if an individual makes a $10 donation, they receive a $10 coupon to your business.
