About the Green Project Listing Site

Get your green project funded!

New Generation Energy's Green Project Listing Site allows the public to donate to green energy projects at nonprofits nationwide. The listing site is similar to a microfinance site but support is in the form of a donation rather than a loan. Emphasis is placed on project metrics like energy savings and carbon emissions reduction.

All listed projects have a thermometer -- like the one pictured. This is a snapshot of your project and organization, and provides an introduction to our supporters.

How it works

Donations for your project are processed by NGE and you receive regular updates on the donation process. When your green project is fully funded, we give you a grant for the amount raised. Project supporters receive project-specific update emails from NGE and their names are also listed on your project page.

Who can applyKitchen upgrade

Any US-based nonprofit organization may apply to be on the listing site. This includes family shelters, community centers, schools, universities, and churches. All green projects must be located in the United States, and all applying nonprofit organizations must be US-based.  Request an application.

Why you should apply

In addition to providing funding for your green energy endeavor, a project listing can serve as a billboard for your organization's efforts to become greener.  NGE helps with the marketing and promotion of your project so your organization can reach a large, national audience.
