More about the project

The Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Church  will install six large sanctuary windows and two interior storm panels in its building, significantly lowering its impact on the environment and reducing its energy costs.

The church has recently spent about $30,000 on energy efficiency improvements such as attic insulation and new appliances, and it sees these windows as the final step in it's greening process.

Over the lifetime of the project, the church will save $67,935 and reduce its carbon emissions by 362,000 lbs. Read more about this project's specifics.

We endorse GREEN. We are proud that our church community is a Green Congregation. We're pleased that New Generation Energy has teamed with the PUUC in this significant fund raising campaign. We sorely need the storm windows as the present situation is woefully inadequate. We are sure that we will realize the funds necessary to bring this project to fruition. Our thanks to New Generation Energy for assisting us in this endeavor.
